“Brainchild”, joined with Tetra Pack (Thailand) Company Limited open a campaign for new-wave creatives to design and produce a “Compressed Carton Machine” for the public. This idea is not only to encourage Thai youths’ innovation, but also to support carton recycling and to improve the community’s environment. The award of the competition is a scholarship worth 200,000 THB and a trip to Singaore.
Over a hundred of designs from 80 colleges have been submitted and the organizing judges have selected 10 pieces. The selected project owners would participate in the Workshop at the actual Recycling factory. Then each team will have to build their best machine model.
The 5 final youth team are “Environment Conservation Club” from Lampang Technique College, “Lanna Dragon” from “Chiang Mai Technique College”, “Giggog” Team from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, “Piboon Evo2” Team from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, and “N.B. 1” Team from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. Each team received 10,000 THB fund to create their “Compressed Carton Machine” for the public for a final competition on Sunday 16 August at Fashion Island Ramindra. Be there and support them!
