This Friday's episode of Brainchild will introduce to you an invention that aims to preserve Thai traditions of salutation. It was created by high school students at Wachirawittaya School in Kampaengpet province. The teenagers say they admire the beauty of the traditional Benchangkapradit stance - the Thai mode of salutations that uses five different parts of the body – inspiring them to create their very own training machine. The contraption detects whether a person's head, hands, and elbows are in the correct position when the salutation carried out. Lights and music from the machine indicate whether the stance is being done properly. Show host Dao Apisara is sure the invention works!
However, resident guru Duke Phanudet isn't so sure. Find out what he thinks of the machine on Brainchild, from 4 pm to 4:25 pm on October 3rd, only on Channel 3.
