Two of the world’s most beloved jazz artists will be performing live together in Bangkok for the very first time.
George Benson and Al Jarreau will play the Queen Sirikit Convention Center on September 10.
Jazz fans know and love George Benson as an artist, a guitarist and talented composer who is responsible for hits such as The Greatest Love Of All, On Broadway, Give Me The Night and Turn Your Love Around. He has won 10 Grammy Awards including Best Pop Instrumental Performance in 1976, 1983 and 2006 and Record of The Year in 1976.
For his Thailand concert he will be accompanied by Al Jarreau, an artist whose unique voice has won him five Grammy Awards including Best Male Jazz Vocal Performance in 1977, 1978 and 1981. His most famous hits include After All, We're In This Love Together, So Good, Never Givin' Up and Mornin'. The two artists had previously worked together on an album called Givin' It Up in 2006. It has been praised as one of the best works from the two artists.
