M Pictures Co. Ltd. and Comedy Line recently organised “Lunla Man” the gala screening at the Infinity Hall, Siam Paragon. Hosting the event were D.J. Poom and D.J. Petchja. The gala began with a speech by Mr. Padet Hongfa, the Chief Executive Officer of M Pictures Co. Ltd., followed by a few words from Ms. Pasinee Prechathanapol, the Vice-President of Thai Life Insurance Company, who praised the movie.

The stage was then handed over to leading actors and actresses Chakrit Yamnam, Jeab Cheunyim, Kitti “Kloue” Chiawwongsakul, Thammaros “Som” Jaichoen, Passorn “Honey” Boonyakiat, and Noolek Gonbai. The cast also performed a scene from the movie in which Chakrit, Jeab and Kloue leave their wives at home in order to meet up with their mistresses. The jealous wives Honey, Som and Noolek suddenly show up and teach their husbands a lesson. Ped Cheonyim, the director of the movie, who had been hiding in a closet placed on stage, suddenly appeared as a surprise. Finally, the entire cast joined the others on stage, including Ussanee “Kik” Wattatana who revealed the playboy qualities of each male character and some funny behind-the-scenes excerpts.

The movie was then displayed on a large projector drawing laughter from the crowd. “Lunla Man” was released in theaters on 9 December, 2010.
