Channel 3 and BEC-Tero Entertainment proudly present a live broadcast of the ultimate boxing tournament “Super Six-World Boxing Classic.” Six world class Super Middleweight (168 pounds) champions will compete against each other in the world’s first boxing league. The legendary boxers are IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham, former middleweight champion of 4 boxing associations Jermain Taylor, WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch, WBC super middleweight runner-up Andre Dirrell, WBA super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler, and Heavyweight Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward.
In the tournament, each boxer will compete in 3 fights in the first round. The winner of each fight will earn 2 points. If he can knock down the opponent, he will get extra 1 bonus point. If the match is drawn, each competitor takes 1 point. The top 4 highest scorers will advance to the semifinal round. (The highest scorer will compete with the 4th place while the 2nd and 3rd place getters will compete against each other.)
The winners in the semifinal round will compete in the final which will be held in June 2011 to find the ultimate super middleweight champion. (The winner will hold the middleweight championship of both the WBC and WBA.)
The first match of the Champion League of Boxing will be broadcasted from Berlin, Germany on 18 October at 06.55 am. (Thai local time) It is the match between the undefeated Arthur Abraham and American legendary boxer Jermain Taylor. Channel 3 and BEC-Tero will broadcast the whole tournament live.
After the Berlin match, the second match will take place. It will be between WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch and Olympic bronze medalist Andre Dirrell and will be held in England. Five weeks later, the third match between WBA Super Middleweight Mikkel Kessler and Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward will be held in the USA.

THE TOURNAMENT
All competitors are placed in one group and will have 3 fights (home and away) in the group stage, collecting 2 points for a point win, 3 points for a KO win and 1 point for a draw. The top 4 of the group will qualify for the knockout stage semi finals (1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd) and the winners meet in the final in
June 2011 to determine the true Super Middleweight Champion of the world. (The winner will also be the holder of both the WBC and WBA versions of the Super Middleweight World Championship.)
