Laughter and smile are known as one of the best medicines. They make heart, lungs, muscles, brain to the immune system function properly. Besides, they help release stress. “Singha presents NANTA”, coming to Bangkok from 22-26 July at Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon, would be another show that everybody would come and enjoy laughing. “Kay-Cholada Mekratree” has guaranteed this superb show by her 2-time experience already!
“I (Kay) attended NANTA for 2 times in Korea and Japan. Both shows impressed and stunned me because it made me laugh from the start until the end. It made me think of some home devices we took for granted, such as kitchenware and cooking procedures, could also make us laugh. They play music from those instruments, from cooking, chopping cucumbers, carrots, and everything in the show. I would give the credits to their creative. They are real artist and I believe the show in Thailand this time will really impress Thai people.”
For buddies like “Ning-Sukanya Raiwinth” and “Petch-Karunpol Tiansuwan”, they both had watched Nanta as well. “At first we thought NANTA was just a normal show and we didn’t expect much. But then when we watched it, it was really something. NANTA is such the best show we’ve ever seen. Even children or non-native English speakers could understand the show. It is very universal and contains lots of fun. Don’t miss the show. However, if you are a kid, don’t imitate their dangerous performance. Just enjoy it in the show, that’s all.”
NANTA has gained its fame for 11 years. It is the first Korean nonverbal show. The story is narrated by hilarious gestures. The concept of the show is created to make laughter from universal language. NANTA was overwhelmingly successful in its opening in Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Great Britain. And that was a significant step to go to the global stage. From this opening, NANTA’s tickets were sold out every day. And since then, NANTA has been globally known. Since 1999, everyone could enjoy the show by taking a part as a bride and a groom in the Korean wedding or by competing in lining Dimsum as high as possible.
Ms. Thipvadee Sukhum, International Concert and Event Manager Singha Corporation Co., Ltd., the show’s title sponsor revealed, “As our constant support on bringing entertainment to Thailand, both concerts and variety of shows, we have brought “Singha presents NANTA” to Thailand in July. We would like to create the happy atmosphere to Thai people especially during this stressful situation. This is a great opportunity that local spectators would enjoy and laugh with a good show from Korea as we’ve brought it in town.”
