Back by popular demand! The baby T-Rex, the highly-sociable and totally harmless dinosaur who made waves earlier this year when he came to town, is back in Bangkok. Many people who got up close to the baby dinosaur jumped out of their skins thinking he was a real dinosaur with his realistic walk, behaviour and skin texture. This time, Thanachart Bank Public Company Limited, brought the baby T-Rex to give a special public appearance at Central World Department store on November 6 - 8. The dinosaur will return to the stage with the rest of the dinosaur clan from November 17-21 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani.

The appearance of the baby dinosaur created great public interest especially among children who came to witness the creature with their own eyes. Ally, our young celebrity and daughter of Thai actor Aum Amarin and his wife Joy Atchariya shrieked when confronted by the baby T-Rex.

Chaosamut, son of Pin Ketmanee who has just recovered from a hip injury after falling off a horse, was in awe. Famous fiction writer Thavara Siripipat, or Dr Pop, who is a fan of dinosaurs also welcomed the beast and even took pictures with the baby dinosaur. This two by five metre baby dinosaur has quickly become every child's favourite animal.

And next week, the baby T-Rex won't be alone at Impact Arena. He'll be accompanied by over 20 other friends including the Plateosaurus and Liliensternus from the Triassic period, the Stegosaurus and Allosaurus from the Jurassic period and Torosaurus and Utahraptor from the Cretaceous and the largest, the Brachiosaurus, which is 36 feet tall and 56 feet long from nose to tail.
