The long wait was finally over when 20 life-sized dinosaurs from “Walking with Dinosaurs” arrived in Thailand and took centre-stage at Muang Thong Thani’s Impact Arena from 17 – 21 November 2010. Many celebrity parents brought their kids to witness the spectacular performance including actor Amarin and his wife Joy Achariya who took their lovely daughter Ally Achiraya. Others who were there included the Watanasin and Thongjeu families, famous actress Nusaba and her sons Poon and Gun, singer Nicole Theriault and her son Tigger, the Kemayothin family, TV announcer Pui Pimonwan and her son Poom, actor Santisuk Promsiri and his family, Toey Winrat and her son Latte, Laura Sasithorn, plus singers Noi from Pru, Burin from Groove Rider, Tee Auan, Leo Put, and Neng from Ynot7. Many other celebrities also enjoyed the performance including Bank Pachara, Nina Suthita, Kalamae, Kathareeya English, Bell Chinadoll and Jennifer Politanon who came with Aun Sarawut.
Audiences were stunned and excited to see the gigantic creatures that existed 65 million years ago. The kids were thrilled when the Ankylosaurus, Plateosauru, Stegosaurus, Torosaurus and the 36-feet tall Brachiosaurus made their appearances. Audiences also got to see carnivorous dinosaurs such as Liliensternus, Allosaurus, Utahraptor, and Tyrannosaurus, the ferocious main character. All of these realistic dinosaurs were created by scientists and world-class designers who worked hard to ensure that these giant puppets look, sound and move like real dinosaurs. Their size, skin texture, muscles, eyes and even their breath seemed real. They could tilt their heads and roll their eyes when interacting with the audience.
