OneRepublic is comprised of bassist Brent Kutzle, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, drummer Eddie Fisher and Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Ryan Tedder who’s worked with the likes of U2, Adele, Beyoncé, Maroon 5, Christina Aguilera and Ellie Goulding.
OneRepublic have been dominating charts all around the world since 2007 when they hit with their debut smash “Apologize”— the Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum-selling track that long held the distinction of being the biggest radio airplay hit in the history of Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40 chart. “Apologize” was followed by their debut album Dreaming Out Loud in 2007.
OneRepublic followed up Dreaming Out Loud with Waking Up, the 2009 album featuring three singles “All the Right Moves,” “Secrets,” and “Good Life.” Native followed in 2013 and featured further hits “If I Lose Myself,” “Love Runs Out,” “I Lived,” and “Counting Stars.” With more than 10 million units of “Counting Stars” sold, the song’s video has racked up more than 1.4 billion hits on YouTube and now stands as one of the site’s top 20 most-viewed videos of all time.
Ryan Tedder has been described as having “the Midas touch for modern hooks and melodies” and in just 10 years OneRepublic have already assembled a massive catalogue of earworm hits that continue to receive airplay across the globe.
The band’s latest album Oh My My is a blend of alt-rock, gospel, synth-pop, and nu-disco. Oh My My shapes those eclectic elements into songs built on both masterfully expansive arrangements and bravely intimate lyrics in songs like “Let’s Hurt Tonight”, “Kids”, “Perfect Disaster”. In a first for the band, Oh My My also boasts a dazzling lineup of guest artists, including Peter Gabriel, Santigold, French electronic duo Cassius, and Romy Madley Croft of The xx.
